ASU scholar named 'Champion of Change'

For her work in the Native American community, Amanda Tachine is being honored today at the White House as a "Champion of Change." The ASU postdoctoral scholar aims to shed light on the struggles first-year Native American students face. In addition to recognizing those who empower their communities, the goal of the White House event is to inspire young women to recognize their potential for leadership.
