The Deadline to apply has been extended to Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 6 p.m. MST.
Individuals who have already submitted may update and refine their application.

Woodside Community Action Grant

Changemaker Central seeks students to advance civic engagement and community service.
Apply for a Woodside Community Grant and receive up to $1500 for the spring semester. Grants are awarded for initiatives that address local and regional community problems with sustainable strategies to encourage engagement and social activism.

ASU startup brings home the ACVC Territorial Cup and $10K
Last Friday, the top 12 startups from Arizona State, University of Arizona and Northern Arizona went head-to-head in the second Arizona Collegiate Venture Competition for a chance at a piece of the $30,000 prize money plus mentorship…and of course the Territorial Cup plus one year of bragging rights. In the end, all Arizona State startups took home the majority of the cash, with the winner being Force Impact Technologies, the creators of FITGuard and the grand prize of $10,000. FitGuard is a revolutionary mouth guard that indicates the amount of force an athlete endures through a visual display-information from a collision is synced to their data base and an individual’s smartphone. Crowdfunding Site Raising Capital for ASU Student Projects
A crowdfunding site affiliated with Arizona State University has ended its experimentation and opened up to the campus community. PitchFunder, as it's named, is run by ASU Foundation, a private, non-profit organization that raises money for Arizona State and provides funding to faculty, staff and students to allow them to pursue research and other projects. Besides making the crowdfunding platform available, the foundation is also assisting those using it in helping them maximize their fundraising efforts. Read More
