13th annual Local to Global Justice festival

The 13th annual Local to Global Justice Festival has been set for Feb. 28 - March 2 on ASU's Tempe campus. The festival aims to educate ASU students and the greater community about local and global justice issues—connecting local diversity, sustainability and social justice issues to global struggles—while promoting diversity, freedom of speech, and academic freedom of discussion.

 

The event features panel discussions, workshops, keynote events, hands-on exhibits, and tabling from scores of community groups. Breaks throughout the day allow participants to enjoy live entertainment, free food (mostly vegan), and shared time with friends and family. Activities even include age-appropriate workshops for children — from toddlers to teens — to explore human rights, social justice, and environmental issues.
